THANK YOU...
HEY SCA!
I would like to say THANK YOU to the officers of SMART as well as all of the past officers and volunteers over the past 5 years! I have enjoyed working with all of you and appreciate everything that you've done for the middle school and for our kids. You are an incredible group of volunteers and deserve to be recognized.
A special thank you to Kara, Kathy, Laurie, and Lon. You all are the BEST! I will miss you immensely!

smart meeting update
Hello all - we held our February meeting this past Monday. Thank you to Dawna Knoebel, Suzanne Kuijpers, and of course the officers and Mr. Nunk. We appreciate all that you do, and any input is good input!!
On to the details:
Kathy Malkoskie has agreed to take over the Campbells labels program - thank you Kathy!
SMART will be holding a dance for grades 6-8 in the HS Gym on February 12th from 7-9 - we hope to see all your kiddos there!! Entrance is $3.00, tickets can be purchased in the MS Office.
The Apple Dumpling Fundraiser forms have been sent home with ALL students - if you did not get one, please call the Middle School Office to get one (or just check your child's bag - that's usually where they are:).
We will be selling SMARTwear next school year, we just have too much going on right now.
We are hoping to do a stock the bus fundraiser, as well as a old fashioned photo shoot in the upcoming months. Keep your eyes out for your magazine renewal forms to come home the end of April.
We have been notified by the school that they are beginning to tear up the macadam and track early so we will have to move our Teacher Appreciation Luncheon in May to the Kindergarten Area (they have a covered outdoor space with plenty of room). We will also be moving and hopefully changing our end of the year celebration to the elementary grounds and holding a live concert from a local band!! If you would like more details on these things - please attend our meetings - they are only every 0ther month, and super amounts of fun! We are relaxed and laugh more than anything - Please join us!!!

Happy New Year!!
Hello All and Happy New Year!! I just wanted to give you all an update and let you know that as of December 31st, we have $113 and some change coming from the Giant rewards....please remember that you can share your number between 2 different organizations :)
Also, I am on my way to get some information on SMART wear - If you are interested in helping me out with this, please do not hesitate to ask :) It loks like we are going to be selling the following this year: Commemorative basket, blankets, outside flags, zip up hoodies, beanie caps, baseball hats, duffle bags, pajama bottoms, mesh shorts, sweatpants with both open and closed legs, short sleeve and long sleeves T's in both crewneck and v-neck, and Crewneck and Hoodie Sweatshirts. Please keep in mind that we only order what we need, no extra as we do not have the storage space for it. These forms will come home by the end of Feruary (Hopeully).
We will also be kicking off our new Apple dumpling fundraiser in February - so keep on the lookout for papers. I will post on here as info goes home, so that you know that you get it:)
As we all know how responsible Middle Schoolers can be:)

CANDY AND CHORUS CONCERT...
Hello,Thank you to everyone who was able to pick up their candy yesterday. If you were not able to get it then, it is in the Middle School Office. Please stop in to pick it up. The office is open from 7:30AM until 4PM. Someone will find your candy and have you sign for it. Thank you for supporting our fundraiser.
The Middle School Chorus concert is Wednesday, 12/15, at 7PM, in the HS Auditorium.

THANK YOU AND BAND CONCERT...
Hello!!A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our COOKIES WITH SANTA event such a giant success! A great time was had by all!
A reminder that we will be distributing candy on Wednesday, 12/8, from 1-7PM, in the EC LGIA. Please pick up your candy there. Candy can not be taken home on the bus. Thank you so much for supporting our fundraiser!
A MS Band concert follows at 7PM in the HS Auditorium!
